As the pandemic rages on, corporate technology budgets won’t be spared. That could prove a problem for investors who have been banking on business being even better than usual.
A quarterly survey by Morgan Stanley found chief information officers expecting their tech budgets to decline by 4.4% this year. That is a sharp turn from the 3.5% growth predicted by the same group in the broker’s last survey in March.
